- Charisma. Professional sellers- whether they’re peddling a simple theory or two-tone eye shadow- need to have a certain amount of charisma, a personality that connects with others. In a very real sense, customers need to trust the person they’re buying from. Want to make money selling cosmetics? Then learn how to be charming, because a little charm goes a long way when trying to get others to spend.
- Professionalism. It’s good for those in sales to be friendly and approachable, but at the same time they’ve got to maintain a certain level of professionalism. People don’t part with their money easily, and they’re only going to do so in what they feel is a safe environment. By being businesslike, sales professionals show buyers they will see a deal through.
- Products. No one can sell unless they’ve got something to sell. This is where outside companies come in. For those who want to become self employed, opportunities abound if they’d like to sell products provided by someone one. Why not start with something relatively safe, well-known and with proven longevity? Why not use make-up to become self employed?
